Looking to grow your leadership skills, connect with other professionals, and learn more about the place you call home? Walker County Leadership Program is your opportunity to do all that—and have a great time doing it!
Sponsored by the Walker County Chamber of Commerce, this program is designed to develop emerging leaders by providing hands-on learning and insight into the issues, services, and opportunities that shape our community. Up to 24 participants will engage in monthly sessions that explore key sectors across Walker County, including government, education, business, agriculture, tourism, and more.
Together, the Chamber, Walker County Government, and our municipalities aim to empower participants to discover how their talents can make a difference. Whether you’re seeking personal growth or ways to give back, Walker County Leadership Program is a meaningful step toward shaping a stronger future—for yourself and for our community.

Leadership Walker County will begin with a required orientation and one-day retreat on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. This will be followed by day-long sessions from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Fees/Admission
The cost of the program is $450 with participants arranging their own tuition with assistance by their employers. The tuition covers all costs. A change might occur in one or two dates according to individual businesses.
